What belt type should I choose for my application?
Smooth belts work best for horizontal transport or inclines up to ten degrees. Grip belts are recommended for steeper inclines from ten degrees to twenty-eight degrees.
How many supports are required for installation?
A minimum of three supports is required for every conveyor with booster system. Supports are ordered separately and should be compatible with SOCO SYSTEM specifications.
Can the motor be mounted on the left side instead?
Yes, while the standard motor position is on the right side of the booster, left-side mounting is available. Please specify this requirement when placing order.
What's the difference between plate and roller bedding?
Grooved plate bedding is standard for one point eight foot boosters up to fifteen and three-quarter inch wide, while roller bedding provides smoother operation for longer conveyors.
Are longer conveyor lengths available beyond standard options?
Yes, custom lengths over sixteen point five feet are available. For specialized length requirements beyond standard offerings, please contact our sales department for custom engineering solutions.
