Our tapes range from 1.7 to 2.8 mils in thickness. The 1060 COHERE at 1.7 mils is ideal for light-weight cartons, the 1180 SUPREME at 1.8 mils handles general packaging applications, while the 1352 SUPREME at 2.8 mils is designed for heavy-duty applications with cartons weighing 50-65 lbs.

The 1322 SUPREME features a unique hand-tear design that eliminates the need for dispensers or scissors. At 2.2 mils thickness, it's perfect for quick packaging tasks and comes in convenient 48mm x 50m or 48mm x 100m sizes for maximum versatility.

Yes, our clear tapes conform to FDA specifications 21 CFR 175.105 and CFR 177.1520 for indirect food contact. This makes them suitable for packaging applications where the tape may come into contact with food packaging materials but not directly with food products.

All our tapes have excellent temperature performance. Application temperature ranges from 32°F to 140°F, while operating temperatures range from -20°F to 200°F (with the 1382 Silent Supreme operating from -10°F to 200°F). This ensures reliable performance in various storage and shipping conditions.

The 1382 SUPREME Silent Supreme is specifically designed for office or mailroom environments where noise reduction is important. It unwinds quietly while maintaining excellent adhesion properties with 24 oz/in peel adhesion and 27 lbs/in tensile strength, making it perfect for light to moderate weight cartons.

All our tapes feature 100% Dow Acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, which provides excellent UV resistance, non-yellowing properties, and superior shear strength for reliable flap-holding power. This acrylic technology ensures consistent performance across a wide temperature range.

STA warrants all products to be free from defects in material and workmanship within one (1) year of the initial date of shipment. Tapes should be used within 1 year of shipment date and stored under normal conditions to ensure optimal performance and adhesion properties.
